^^^version 1. I learned on belt driven turntables back in 1995, then stepped up to direct drive for a little while until a friend showed me "Napster" and "Audio Galaxy"
From there, I used all kinds of sequencers and software to mix, but Traktor is my favorite.
Ooooo, another person attempting the feat of ripping a vinyl collection!? I think i've given up and will soon hunt for slave labor in Bolivia to get it completed lol. Lately I've said that for every new set/gig I will rip 3 12" and drop those mf's in the set. Been workin great sofar!
All I can say is I can't wait to have my VCI 100 tomorrow as I'm sick of using CDJs whe I wanna scratch and then tweaking loops and efx in traktor with a mouse & keybard .
VCI-100 is pure TITS, I've officially convinced my dj partner Overkill to switch off his Serato setup and go VCI haha, We'll be rockin 2 vci's into seperate inputs of the club mixer, gonna be pure porn.
Last time I get DD a look though, I don't think it was working with Mac, but now it looks like does... Going to have to download that demo this weekend.
