Alright, this is the little bastard that i use. i will start off with what i like about it then go on to the shit i hate about it.

Pros:

Small, actually smaller than a record and only about 2 inches tall. It barely weighs more thatn 2 lbs. considerably lighter than a laptop. Its also easy to place at gigs, cause it has a hole in the back so it can sit right on top of a Turntable. (make sure its not spinning tho ;p )

Pretty easy to use, not a whole lot of confusing stuff or un-labeled knobs. It also comes with interchangeable skins for different softwares or custom midi maps.

it has a scroll knob to search thru your files so u rarely have to touch your laptop.

Despite its light weight plastic build the bastard is kinda durable. I have throwin it around a few times and nothing has broken off yet. I wouldnt try and compare it to a VC-100I tho. those things stop bullets.

It comes with Software. i believe most controllers do.

Its cheap! probably the cheapest controller on the market. 200$

Cons:

Ok, first thing is that it doesnt have a built in soundcard. this sux. cause its more shit u gotta remember to bring with. Also, you are gonna need to use up another USB port and some more wires. Also, most sound cards cant put out the volume that mixers can put out, so headphone levels blow.

In relation to the soundcard thing, the specs say u dont need a power supply. well, depending on your laptop u might. My computer doesnt have enuff bus power to power both the SD card and the controller. It will drive u crazy.

The pitch faders are shit. they are sloppy and loose. thats great for a lonely saturday night, but shitty for matching up bpms.

the console is a bit cramped. if u got some fat fingers u will be pissed off when u turn knobs and shit unintentionally. werks for little hands well tho.

Computer power. Ok, the specs that Numark gives are BS. Of course depends on what software u are running. But, i am sure we all know how much cpu is used by both traktor and vdj. so, a dual core and at least 2 gigs of ram is highly recommend on my part. anything less will give a shit ton of lag.

Well, thats a quick over view of the Numark Total Contol. Hope it helps.

Thanks for sharing. I'll be in the controller market this year. Anyone else have an opinion on the controller they are using?
