Hello...I'm new!
My name is D'jinni (yeah my parents dropped a lot of acid in the sixties...but I digress). I am new here and I am a dj (have been for about five years), a dancer (used to do professional choreography...before the kids), a former club kid (Seattle...Capitol Hill, holla!), and an artist/slacker/mother of two. I just moved to Atlanta, and I am so psyched to have stumbled upon this site because I used to live in Maine (not by choice, mind you) and whenever I would tell ppl what kind of music I liked, I was met with quizzical expressions and long pauses, followed by an awkward question like "yeah but um...do you like Tool?" so yeah...it's nice to find a community of other deejays, dancers, and music aficionados! Wow...I just made myself sound like a total music nazi, elitist snob, and I'm not...actually I am a total goofball who loves music more than almost anything, and I enjoy playing Scrabble, and long walks on the beach at sunset (LOL!!!) But yeah...enough of my caffeinated rambling...and hello. It's nice to be here!

Welcome, you stumbled upon a great spot! We have an awesome group here and it only keeps getting better. You'll find live DJs pretty much any night of the week and I have to say we've got some bad ass DJs! I hope you enjoy your stay here! Hey there.. Have plenty of friends in ATL.. Dont know how much you get out but if you want to check out an intelligent DJ,,, look up Rob Dowell. Cool cat, good taste. JLuv still lives and plays in ATL if you like old style house (vocals) (Don''t really lie what he plays but I love me some JLuv so I always want to say hi when in town).. When I visit ATL I usually end up at MJQ or Lava or Halo. Oh yeah, Chris Nicholson good for some house.

believe it or not back in the day (i'm talking 91-95) they used to throw alot of raves around portland maine - we used to drive up from nyc for the parties. great to see more like minded people on the site!
