Please tell us about yourself.: A Mixologist’s Philosophy

The Paradise Garage, Giant Steps, The Saint, Sound Factory, Twilo — Clubs that have become symbols in what we today know as House Music. Each having their own sound for that space. And each of these clubs have closed their doors, but we can still remember the beat that made us dance in the wee hours till the following day. That feeling of excitement as you stand outside waiting to get in, just the bass pounding the walls is all that you hear. This is what I bring to my set. The sound of Old School House—mixed in with some of today of course. The “four on the floor” anthems that bring back memories.
