Please tell us about yourself.: DJ/Producer Lady Cherelle has dedicated over a decade of her life to the craft of electronic dance music. She strives to convey the true purpose of music: to bring people together beyond divisive boundaries. Her passion for house music is evident in her dynamic approach to mixing different styles within the genre– her repertoire ranges from Deep, Tech, Electro, Tribal and Latin to Funky, Jazzy, Broken Beat, Old School and Progressive. She also enjoys spinning Funky Breaks. On dance floors from coast to coast, Lady Cherelle shares her dynamic ability to communicate the power of music with a clear and undeniable message for all to hear: FREEDOM.

Lady Cherelle started her professional DJ career in the Bay Area and is currently based in Gainesville, Florida. For almost 10 years, she has one of the longest residencies in Gainesville at the 2nd Street Speakeasy and also spins weekly at 101 Downtown. Along with Courtney K (ThatGirlsGotsRhythm), she hosted First Fridays at Plasma Lounge, which BROADCASTS LIVE on YOURCRATE.COM and features YOURCRATE DJs. She has played a pivotal role in helping house music persevere in Gainesville and beyond. Thousands of performances over the years exemplifies her obligation to pay homage to art of music by inducing audiences to instinctively shake their groove thang.

Lady Cherelle’s musical aptitude stretches beyond the art of DJing- she is a classical pianist, composer and vocalist. She has committed her life to the continuous study and performance of music in a multitude of diverse endeavors. Selekta Recordings will be internationally releasing "Living in Rhythm" Summer 2009 , a full length album produced by Lady Cherelle along with several EPs from the album remixed by various talented and renowned artists.

As for my Facebook, my profile has been disabled due to "Spam".

I'm not one to toot my own horn or in denial, but I didn't know that posting like 50 or so youtube video's on my private profile was considered spam!

Too many friends x too many youtube links = SPAM! Oops, good thing I'm not a living citizen of Facebook country or I'd be dead or saying "Hail" to the Adolf Hitler's Facebook site.
