Who and what are your influences? Current and Past...: Underground music, electronic or otherwise, from the early eighties to the present

Please tell us about yourself.: My music career began in the early 90's as a DJ, spinning bars, clubs and rooftops for several of the well known electronic music establishments in a little town called Gainesville, Florida. This happened to be the right place and the right time for the genre.

We denizens of downtown Hoggetowne circa '90 were blessed to be within crawling distance of a world renowned club known simply as Simon's. The club was even mentioned in an 1995 issue of Details magazine as one of the top 10 clubs in the world helping it achieve legendary status among famous DJs worldwide. The fact that it began as a "membership required" establishment with an incredibly intimate atmosphere uniquely linked club goers with the music the way few other clubs could. Even in our small college town we were all part of something wonderful building at lightning speed all around the globe.

But as you know, every party needs to come to an end.

As the festivities around town began to wind down because of the various "dance laws" plaguing Florida cities throughout the early 2000's, I quit the DJ racket and began producing electronic music under the moniker The Reality Soldier. My music encapsulates the flare and raw intensity that defined the early roots of electronic music.

My first full length album will hit November 2009.
